Security by APS is a home and business security company serving the greater New Orleans and Metairie, Louisiana area. Despite offering a wide range of services — alarm systems, security cameras, fire monitoring, and AI video surveillance — they had minimal organic visibility online. Competitors were capturing the majority of local search traffic, and the company's Google Business Profile was underperforming. They needed a comprehensive local SEO strategy to establish market dominance and turn search traffic into real phone calls and leads.

My Role
  • Conducted a full technical SEO audit and implemented on-page optimizations across the site
  • Created 20+ SEO-targeted content pieces on topics ranging from AI security cameras to New Orleans-specific hurricane preparedness

The Challenge

Zen Cannabis is a national cannabis brand selling nano-infused THC products including gummies, chocolates, tinctures, and drinks across multiple U.S. states. Operating in one of the most heavily regulated and advertising-restricted industries in the country, Zen Cannabis could not rely on paid search or social media advertising to drive traffic. Organic search was their primary growth lever — but the brand was competing against well-funded national competitors for high-intent keywords in a space where Google frequently adjusts how it treats cannabis-related content. They needed a disciplined, long-term SEO strategy that could build real visibility without running afoul of platform restrictions.

My Role
  • Managed a comprehensive national SEO campaign tracking 95 target keywords across Google USA
  • Performed on-page optimization of high-traffic product URLs including cannabis drinks, chocolates, tinctures, and state-specific landing pages
  • Created and optimized blog content targeting informational queries such as "what is nano infused THC," "THC drinks vs edibles," and "cannabis infused chocolate"
  • Monitored ranking movements monthly, adjusted strategy based on SERP changes, and reported performance against a full keyword tracking dashboard
